Tigers
I did 9 trips into the Park in 5 days, and one trip to meet Lakshmi the leopard. All this, guided by local expert, Ash, and driven by Mahon. Both of these guys are the best at what they do. Their knowledge of local flora and fauna is stunning and that Gypsy (Jeep) was put into places that you wouldn't believe a Jeep would go.
Because of their dedication we saw tigers every day, and as you can see, usually they were extremely close. In answer to your question Dicky, Yes, I'm now a convert!
I stayed at the Ranthambhore Bagh and was treated royally by the hosts, Aditya (Dicky) and Poonam Singh. The staff would do anything in their power to make your stay comfortable. The food (thanks Poonam) was beautiful, I'm just sorry I couldn't eat more of it...... ;-). Dicky came on a few of the trips, and was always willing to give freely of his wealth of experience of both the Park and the tigers, and of photogaphy.
